Location: 1 Chase Manhattan Plaza. New York City. Sponsored by Chase, the Legacy of Homeownership Tour is a four-city event designed to teach first and second-time homebuyers how to build a financial legacy through real estate. This interactive, informative initiative will feature home-buying workshops, raffles with prizes ranging from a Dell computer to a one-room home makeover, as well as the opportunity to get pre-qualified on the spot for a new mortgage or refinancing. Lynnette Khalfani Cox will give the keynote address in each city of the tour: Atlanta (May 19); Houston (June 23); Chicago (July 21) and New York (September 29). At every venue, participants will received free, autographed copies of Lynnette’s book, Zero Debt. The Money Coach will also be answering attendees’ financial questions.
