Lynnette Khalfani-Cox, CEO and Co-Founder
As CEO of TheMoneyCoach.net LLC, Lynnette Khalfani-Cox oversees all content, marketing and operational efforts, serves as spokesperson for the company, and is responsible for the overall editorial direction of the company’s main consumer site, AskTheMoneyCoach.com.
Before launching TheMoneyCoach.net in 2003, Lynnette was a Wall Street Journal reporter for CNBC, where she covered business and personal finance news.
Lynnette spent nearly 10 years at Dow Jones & Co. Inc. working as a reporter, bureau chief, deputy managing editor and personal finance editor.
Prior to her work at Dow Jones, Lynnette was a correspondent for The Philadelphia Inquirer, a writer and assistant producer for WTXF (FOX-TV) in Philadelphia, and a writer for the Associated Press in Los Angeles.
Lynnette earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Irvine. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California.
Lynnette and her husband, Earl, live in New Jersey, with their three children.
Earl Cox, President and Co-Founder
As President of TheMoneyCoach.net LLC, Earl Cox manages the company’s primary and subsidiary sites, is responsible for the day-to-day technical operations, and handles all business and advertising transactions with the company’s clients.
Prior to launching TheMoneyCoach.net, Earl ran his own boutique literary management agency where he represented celebrity authors and non-fiction business writers. During that time, he also spun off a small press and book distribution service for self-published authors and small presses.
Earl previously worked for a decade as a National Accounts Manager at John Wiley & Sons Inc.
Earl earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Retailing & Sales from Baruch College in New York City. He also holds a Certificate in Publishing from Stanford University.
